Singapore Sale Calendar After SRF 2026: 9.9, 10.10, 11.11 and 12.12

The Singapore Retail Festival (SRF, formerly the Great Singapore Sale) closed on 26 July 2026, so pick your next sale from 11.11 or 12.12, then check out through ShopBack before you pay, where ShopBack Cashback works like a discount, only easier than a promo code. The seasonal shopping question shifts from "did I catch SRF?" to "when should I actually buy the things I still need?" Four double-date events follow it: 9.9 in September, 10.10 in October, 11.11 in November, and 12.12 in December, plus Amazon Prime Big Deal Days somewhere in the October window. With 9.9 and 10.10 now past, this is the post-SRF playbook for the rest of 2026.

The verdict

If you only remember one rule for the remainder of Singapore's 2026 sale calendar: 11.11 is still the deepest single-day window of the year for electronics, home appliances, fashion, and cross-border marketplace purchases. 9.9 gives you an early preview at moderate depth. 10.10 overlaps with Amazon Prime Big Deal Days and peaks for beauty, skincare, and Amazon ecosystem devices. 12.12 clears what 11.11 didn't and opens the strongest travel window for early 2027 trips. Time large purchases to the right event, not the next sale email that lands in your inbox.

💡 Go through ShopBack before you pay on 11.11 and 12.12 Takes 2 minutes to sign up. No promo codes needed.

What just ended: SRF 2026 in review

The Singapore Retail Festival, launched as a rebrand of the long-running Great Singapore Sale (GSS), ran from 4 July to 26 July 2026 under the coordination of the Singapore Retailers Association. It bundled physical-retail and online promotions across Orchard Road anchors, department stores (Takashimaya, Isetan, Tangs, BHG, Metro), and participating e-commerce partners. Discount depth varied widely: 15 to 40 percent on fashion, 10 to 25 percent on dining vouchers, 5 to 20 percent on Orchard Road electronics.

For shoppers who caught SRF on fashion, dining, and physical-retail purchases, the window closed with strong value. For shoppers who were holding out for electronics, appliances, or cross-border marketplace deals, SRF was usually the second-tier event: online 11.11 typically beats SRF on headline depth for those categories. If you missed SRF on the categories it does best, the next comparable fashion window is 12.12 clearance in December.

Why Singapore has two overlapping sale cycles

Singapore sits at the intersection of two retail rhythms. The Western retail cycle (Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Boxing Day) reaches Singapore through Amazon SG, iHerb, and international brand sites. The East Asian marketplace cycle (9.9, 10.10, 11.11, 12.12), pioneered by Alibaba's Singles Day and now global, dominates Shopee, Lazada, Taobao, and most Southeast Asian e-commerce.

The double-date format grew out of Alibaba's 11.11 Singles Day in China. Shopee and Lazada localised the format for Southeast Asia, and it now anchors the deepest online cuts of the year in Singapore across nearly every category. Physical retail still leans on SRF, CNY, and holiday-specific promotions. Online retail leans on the double-date cycle.

This is why 11.11 matters more than Black Friday in Singapore: the marketplaces that dominate local e-commerce (Shopee, Lazada) discount deepest on 11.11, not Black Friday. Amazon SG still runs a Black Friday event in late November, but the wider Singapore online ecosystem peaks on 11.11.

9.9 (9 September 2026): the electronics preview

9.9 opens the double-date cycle. Discount depth is moderate compared to 11.11 but real: expect 15 to 30 percent off list on electronics, 10 to 25 percent on beauty and household goods, and 20 to 40 percent on select fashion. Shopee runs its 9.9 Super Shopping Day with sitewide promotions plus flash-hour deals. Lazada runs LazMall 9.9 with brand-authorised cuts. Amazon SG typically runs preview promotions that lead into Prime Big Deal Days in October.

Buy at 9.9 if: you need the item within the next 2 to 3 months and can't wait until 11.11, or the item is on the 9.9 flash list at a price that matches your target regardless.

Wait past 9.9 if: the item is a premium electronic (TV, laptop, high-end phone, kitchen appliance) or a large home appliance. 11.11 depth on those categories typically beats 9.9 by 5 to 15 percentage points.

Category peaks at 9.9:

• Small kitchen appliances (air fryers, blenders, coffee machines)
• Beauty and skincare (early stocking for year-end)
• Mid-tier smartphones and accessories
• Fast fashion and everyday apparel

10.10 (10 October 2026): beauty peak + Prime Big Deal Days overlap

10.10 is the beauty and skincare peak of the year in Singapore. Sephora, Watsons, iHerb, and dedicated K-beauty and J-beauty stores run their deepest cuts of the year on prestige and drugstore brands. Discount depth on beauty during 10.10 typically ranges 20 to 40 percent off list on select brands, with bundle promotions going deeper.

Amazon Prime Big Deal Days typically lands in early to mid October and overlaps the 10.10 window. Prime members get access to exclusive deals across electronics, Amazon-owned devices (Echo, Fire TV, Kindle), household consumables, and Amazon Basics. Non-Prime shoppers still see many sitewide discounts during the event. Exact dates for Prime Big Deal Days 2026 shift year to year; verify with Amazon SG.

Buy at 10.10 if: you're stocking up on beauty, skincare, or wellness products for the year, or you're a Prime member targeting Amazon-owned devices.

Wait past 10.10 if: you're targeting large electronics, home appliances, or premium fashion. 11.11 depth on those is deeper.

Category peaks at 10.10:

• Prestige beauty and skincare
• K-beauty and J-beauty imports
• Wellness supplements and vitamins
• Amazon ecosystem devices
• Household consumables via Prime

11.11 (11 November 2026): the deepest single-day window

11.11, Singles Day, is the peak. It's the deepest single-day discount window of the year in Singapore across almost every category that matters for online purchases. Discount depth on electronics during 11.11 typically ranges 20 to 40 percent off list, with select flash-hour deals going deeper. Home appliances see 25 to 50 percent cuts. Premium fashion sees 30 to 50 percent sitewide reductions. Cross-border marketplaces (Taobao, Shopee cross-border) run coordinated global promotions.

The single reason 11.11 dominates: it aligns with the East Asian marketplace cycle, which Shopee and Lazada built their businesses around. Every major partner brand invests marketing budget in 11.11 promotions, so the depth compounds across categories. If you're buying anything expensive online in Singapore, 11.11 is usually the right day.

Buy at 11.11 if: the item is expensive, sold online, and you can time it to 11 November.

Wait past 11.11 if: you missed a specific item, in which case 12.12 clearance may catch it at similar prices, though selection thins.

Category peaks at 11.11:

• Large home appliances (washing machines, refrigerators, air conditioners)
• Premium electronics (TVs, laptops, high-end phones)
• Cross-border marketplace purchases (Taobao, Shopee cross-border)
• Premium fashion and footwear
• Kitchen and home essentials at bulk pricing

12.12 (12 December 2026): clearance + travel booking peak

12.12 closes the double-date cycle. Discount depth on most physical categories runs a close second to 11.11, often within 5 percentage points. The catch: selection thins significantly after 11.11 for popular models, so 12.12 works best for shoppers who are flexible on exact SKU or size.

The one category where 12.12 clearly beats 11.11 is travel bookings for early 2027 trips. Klook, Booking.com, Agoda, and Trip.com typically run their strongest early-2027 promotions during 12.12, targeting Chinese New Year travel (CNY 2027 falls on 6 February), March school holidays, and Q1 leisure trips. Discount depth on Klook activity bundles and Booking.com hotel stays for early 2027 often exceeds 11.11 depth on the same inventory.

Buy at 12.12 if: you missed 11.11 on a general-availability item, or you're booking early-2027 travel.

Wait past 12.12 if: you're targeting Chinese New Year home appliance cuts, which land in mid-to-late January 2027.

Category peaks at 12.12:

• Clearance across 11.11 stock at similar or better prices
• Travel bookings for CNY 2027 and March school holidays
• Year-end gift purchases
• Final electronics window before CNY

Saving math: the sale price, ShopBack and how you pay

On a large sale-day purchase, the steps are the same every time.

Step 1: find the sale price. This is the headline discount you see on the product page during the sale window. For 11.11 electronics, expect 20 to 40 percent off list.

Step 2: go through ShopBack before you pay. Open the store's ShopBack page, tap through to the retailer and check out. The current Cashback is shown on the store's ShopBack page before you buy.

Step 3: pay with the card that suits you. Many Singapore Cashback cards and miles cards reward online spend or specific merchant categories. Check your card's terms for what counts as eligible spend.

Verify current published Cashback rates on each merchant page before checkout, as rates shift around major sale events.

---

When to click through ShopBack

Two rules for using ShopBack on a sale day:

1. Go through ShopBack right before you check out. Open the store from its ShopBack page, then check out as normal.
2. Check the store's ShopBack page for the current Cashback before you buy. Cashback rates step up around some sale events.

For Singapore double-date events, Cashback rates often step up temporarily during the event window. It's worth checking the merchant page a day before the event for the promoted rate, then routing through at checkout.

Retailers where Cashback typically steps up around 9.9, 10.10, 11.11, and 12.12 include Shopee, Lazada, Amazon SG, Zalora, and Klook. Rates on non-event days can still be worthwhile; verify the current published rate before checkout rather than assuming event-day pricing.

Common traps in the post-SRF stretch

Trap 1: buying "SRF stragglers" at post-SRF prices. Some retailers extend SRF-branded promotions into August at shallower discount depth. If you missed the real SRF window (4 to 26 July), the extended promotions are rarely worth waiting through. Route to 9.9 or the appropriate event for your category.

Trap 2: assuming Prime Day already covered 2026. Amazon runs two Prime events per year. The mid-year Prime Day (June 2026) has already fired. The second event, Prime Big Deal Days, typically lands in early-to-mid October. If you're a Prime member, check Amazon SG for this year's October dates.

Trap 3: over-timing on essentials. Household consumables, groceries, and low-ticket items rarely see meaningful sale-day discounts. Timing matters most for large-ticket electronics, appliances, fashion, and travel bookings, where the discount depth on a single sale day can save a meaningful sum. For everyday essentials, buy when you need them.

Trap 4: treating 11.11 flash hours as the whole day. Shopee and Lazada 11.11 both run flash-hour promotions at specific times (typically midnight-to-1am, and evening peaks). The flash-hour discount depth is often the deepest of the day, but stock is limited. If you need a specific SKU, monitor the flash-hour schedule and be ready to check out fast.

Trap 5: forgetting the 12.12 travel window. Most Singapore shoppers focus 11.11 spending on electronics and fashion. But if you have a CNY 2027 or March 2027 trip planned, 12.12 is often the strongest booking window of the year on Klook, Booking.com, and Agoda. Set a reminder for 12 December if travel is on your list.

Your post-SRF 2026 buying plan

A practical Q3-Q4 2026 plan for a Singapore household:

• August (post-SRF cooldown): don't buy anything expensive unless time-sensitive. Wait for 9.9.
• 9 September (9.9): small kitchen appliances, mid-tier electronics, beauty stocking, fast fashion. Skip large electronics.
• 10 October (10.10 + Prime Big Deal Days): beauty and skincare peak, Amazon ecosystem devices, household consumables via Prime, year-end wellness supplements.
• Late October: hold. 11.11 is 2 to 3 weeks away.
• 11 November (11.11): everything else. Large electronics, home appliances, premium fashion, cross-border marketplace, kitchen and home essentials. This is the day to make the big purchases.
• 12 December (12.12): clearance on missed 11.11 items, travel bookings for CNY 2027 and March holidays, year-end gift purchases.
• Mid-to-late January 2027: Chinese New Year home appliance and CNY-specific cuts. Different playbook, covered separately.

This rhythm captures close-to-best pricing on almost every big-ticket purchase for the remainder of 2026 without ever paying regular sticker price.

---

When this does NOT apply

• Time-sensitive replacements: a broken washing machine in August or a dead laptop in September can't wait until 11.11. Buy at the next reasonable window (9.9 or 10.10) rather than paying full sticker.
• Limited-drop fashion and sneakers: brand releases run on their own calendar, not the sale calendar. Nike SNKRS, Adidas Confirmed, and premium-brand drops rarely discount on 11.11.
• Highly volatile categories: GPUs, gaming consoles, and certain electronics can spike or crash on supply news. The double-date calendar is a weak predictor for those.
• Luxury goods: premium watches, high-end handbags, and luxury fashion discount on their own brand-specific windows, typically shallower and less predictable than the double-date cycle.
• Physical-retail Orchard Road purchases: SRF and holiday-specific promotions still dominate physical retail. The online 9.9 to 12.12 cycle applies mostly to e-commerce inventory.

Frequently asked questions

When did the Singapore Retail Festival (SRF) 2026 end?

The Singapore Retail Festival 2026, formerly known as the Great Singapore Sale (GSS), ran from 4 July to 26 July 2026. It closed at the end of July, and the first double-date sale after it was 9.9 on 9 September 2026. Verify current SRF dates on the Singapore Retailers Association site as promotional windows can shift year to year.

What Singapore sale events are left in 2026?

As of October 2026, three major double-date events remain: 10.10 (10 October), 11.11 (11 November, the deepest single-day cuts of the year on electronics, appliances, and fashion), and 12.12 (12 December). 9.9 (9 September) has already run. Amazon Prime Big Deal Days typically lands in early to mid October and overlaps the 10.10 window. Chinese New Year 2027 sales begin in mid January, with CNY falling on 6 February 2027.

Which sale event has the deepest discounts in Singapore?

11.11 (Singles Day, 11 November) typically delivers the deepest single-day cuts of the year on electronics, home appliances, fashion, and cross-border marketplaces (Shopee, Lazada, Taobao, Amazon SG). Discount depth on electronics during 11.11 typically ranges 20 to 40 percent off list, with select flash windows going deeper. 12.12 runs a close second and often clears remaining stock at similar or better prices, but selection thins.

Was SRF 2026 better value than 9.9 or 11.11 will be?

For fashion, dining vouchers, and physical-retail Orchard Road purchases, SRF (Singapore Retail Festival) 2026 was often the strongest window of the year because it bundles in-store and online promotions from participating retailers under one banner. For online electronics, appliances, and cross-border marketplace purchases, 11.11 tends to beat SRF on headline discount depth. If you missed SRF on fashion, 12.12 clearance is the next comparable window, though selection is narrower.

Does Amazon Prime Day happen in Singapore?

Amazon Singapore participates in Prime Day and Prime Big Deal Days each year. The mid-year Prime Day event has already run for 2026 (June); the second event, Prime Big Deal Days, typically lands in early to mid October and overlaps the 10.10 window. Prime members get access to exclusive deals across electronics, household consumables, and Amazon-owned devices. Non-Prime shoppers still see many sitewide discounts during the event.

How does Cashback work with 9.9, 10.10, 11.11, and 12.12 discounts?

Find the deal, go through the store's ShopBack page before you pay, then check out as normal, so ShopBack Cashback works like a discount on any sale day, only easier than a promo code. The current Cashback is shown on the store's ShopBack page before you buy.

Which categories peak on which sale event?

Roughly: 9.9 peaks for electronics preview cuts, small appliances, and beauty; 10.10 peaks for beauty, skincare, and Amazon ecosystem devices (via Prime Big Deal Days overlap); 11.11 peaks for large electronics, home appliances, fashion, and cross-border marketplace items (Taobao, Shopee cross-border, Lazada LazMall); 12.12 peaks for clearance across all categories plus travel bookings for early 2027 trips. Fashion sees strong cuts across all four windows, with 11.11 slightly deeper on premium brands.

Should I wait for 11.11 or buy now on Shopee and Lazada?

For most electronics, appliances, and premium fashion, 11.11 delivers the deepest cuts of the year. If you can wait until 11 November, wait. For everyday essentials (household consumables, groceries), the sale windows offer smaller marginal savings, so timing matters less. For time-sensitive purchases (broken appliance, work laptop), buying at 9.9 or 10.10 typically beats paying regular sticker price by 15 to 30 percent on the same item.

How do I earn Cashback on 11.11 purchases through ShopBack?

Go through ShopBack before you pay, then check out as normal. ShopBack Cashback is available across Shopee, Lazada, Amazon SG, Taobao, Zalora, Sephora, iHerb, Klook, and other ShopBack Singapore partners. The current Cashback is shown on each store's ShopBack page before you buy.

Is 12.12 worth waiting for after 11.11?

12.12 is worth checking if you missed 11.11 on a specific item. It runs a close second on headline discount depth and often clears remaining 11.11 stock at comparable prices. However, selection thins significantly, and popular electronics models sold out during 11.11 rarely return. For travel bookings covering early 2027 trips (Chinese New Year, March school holidays), 12.12 is often the strongest travel window of the year with early-bird promotions on Klook, Booking.com, and Agoda.
