Lufthansa s Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Lufthansa airlines allows flight cancellations up to 24 hours before the scheduled departure and provides a refund depending on the type of ticket. The refund is processed within three days of cancellation.
  • If your flight is cancelled without notifications or due to any unforeseen situations, you have rights over re-routing, reimbursement and compensation. Compensations include accommodation, meals and refreshments and transport between the airport and accommodation.
  • If your flight is delayed for more than five hours, then a full refund of your ticket or the amount equivalent to the unused ticket will be provided within seven days.
