When Does ShopBack Cashback Get Paid in Singapore? The Full Timeline (2026)
ShopBack cashback in Singapore moves from tracked click to Pending within 48 hours, to Confirmed after the store's validation window, to a bank transfer within 10 calendar days once Confirmed Cashback reaches S$10. This guide covers the timeline by category, the Shopee seller rule, withdrawal limits, and the 7-to-30-day missing cashback claim window.

How we picked. Every figure comes from ShopBack's own published help pages for Singapore: Withdraw your Cashback, Cashback tracking issues, Report missing Cashback and the group-wide Cashback tracking and calculation guide. Where a store-specific number is not published, we describe the mechanism instead. Last data check: 1 October 2026.
Forty-eight hours, seven days, thirty days, one hundred and twenty days: those four numbers from ShopBack Singapore's help centre define the whole cashback timeline. Forty-eight hours is how long a tracked order can take to appear as Pending. Seven days after purchase is when the missing cashback report option opens. Thirty days after purchase is when it closes. One hundred and twenty days is how long an investigation can run. Between those, the store's own validation window decides when Pending becomes Confirmed, and once you have S$10 Confirmed, a bank transfer lands within 10 calendar days. This guide puts the numbers in order.
The verdict
ShopBack cashback in Singapore is paid in two waits. The first, Pending to Confirmed, is set by the store and runs from a few weeks for shopping to after-the-trip for travel. The second, Confirmed to your bank, is set by ShopBack: S$10 minimum, S$300 a day, within 10 calendar days.
The store's wait is the one that surprises people, because it is invisible from the outside. ShopBack cannot pay you until the merchant has checked the order, waited out its own return window, and paid the commission that funds the cashback. A Shopee order will do that in weeks. A Klook activity you booked for a December holiday will do it in January. Neither is late; they are on the merchant's calendar.
The four statuses and what to do at each
| Status | Meaning | Your action |
|---|---|---|
| Tracked, no entry yet | You clicked through and bought; the store has not reported the sale to ShopBack | Nothing for 48 hours |
| Pending | ShopBack has recorded the order and is waiting for the store to validate | Nothing; note the expected confirmation date on the entry |
| Confirmed | The store validated the sale; the amount is withdrawable | Withdraw once Confirmed Cashback is at least S$10 |
| Rejected | The store declined the order: return, cancellation, excluded terms, unlisted code | Review the store's terms; contact support if you believe it is wrong |

How does ShopBack know I bought something?
ShopBack tracks your order with a cookie. When you tap Shop Now on a store's page in the ShopBack app, on shopback.sg or through the browser extension, ShopBack drops a tracking cookie and sends you to the store through a tagged link. At checkout, the store's affiliate network matches the sale to that click and reports it to ShopBack.
Cashback is then calculated on the rate displayed on the store's ShopBack page at the time of your click, applied to the order subtotal. ShopBack states most stores do not count shipping fees or taxes, so an illustrative 5 percent on a S$100 subtotal returns S$5.
Three rules follow, and they explain nearly every missing cashback case ShopBack Singapore lists:
- Start at ShopBack. If you went straight to Shopee or Lazada, there is no cookie and nothing to track.
- Make ShopBack the last click before checkout. Clicking a third-party offer or advert during the purchase, or hopping through another cashback or coupon site, overwrites the cookie.
- Keep the session clean. Ad blockers, manually edited URLs, and switching from browser to app mid-purchase break the chain. ShopBack Singapore states it cannot track cashback when an ad blocker is running.
Why is Shopee different on ShopBack Singapore?
Shopee is a marketplace of individual sellers, and ShopBack Singapore has a specific rule for it that catches a lot of people. ShopBack states that to maximise cashback from a Shopee purchase, you need to buy from the same seller store you landed on. If you tap through to Shopee seller A from ShopBack but then buy from seller B, you receive only the minimum base rate, except in special cases such as upsize deals.
What that means in practice: search for the seller, not just "Shopee," on ShopBack. Shopee Official Store, Shopee Supermarket and individual brand stores are listed separately. Tap through to the one you intend to buy from, add to cart on that seller's page, and check out. If you want items from two sellers, do two tap-throughs and two orders.
Lazada works through its own ShopBack page and the same click-through logic, without the per-seller rule being spelled out in the help centre; the store's Cashback Info is where any seller-level condition would be listed.
When does the Pending entry appear?
Within 48 hours. ShopBack Singapore states an order can take up to 48 hours, and in some cases longer, to be processed and reflected in your account, and that it emails you when the cashback is ready to view. In the app, tap Cashback to see the Pending tab; on the web, hover your Cashback status and click Account information to see each transaction's status and lifetime earnings. Every Pending entry carries an expected confirmation date based on that store's published claim time.
Seeing the Pending entry is the moment you can stop worrying about tracking. The only thing left is the store's validation window.
Why does validation take weeks for shopping and months for travel?
ShopBack states that partner stores need to review and validate the purchase, wait a cooling period to confirm items were not cancelled, returned or exchanged, and check that you bought through ShopBack. The length of the cooling period is set by each store.
Marketplaces and retail. Shopee and Lazada return windows, and the return windows at fashion, electronics and beauty stores, are commonly 7 to 30 days after delivery. The store cannot pay ShopBack a commission on a sale that may still be reversed, so it waits until the window closes and then batches confirmations. Shopping cashback in Singapore typically confirms a few weeks after purchase.
Food delivery and groceries. foodpanda orders and FairPrice Online baskets have short or no return windows, so they tend to confirm sooner than fashion, though stores still batch their reporting.
Travel. Klook, Agoda, Trip.com, Booking.com and the airlines pay commission on completed travel, not on bookings. A hotel can be cancelled free up to check-in on many rates; an activity can be refunded until the day. So the merchant validates only after you have travelled. A Klook pass booked in October for a December trip to Tokyo will sit as Pending until after December and then take the merchant's reporting cycle on top. This is the single biggest reason a Singapore ShopBack balance looks stuck: the trip has not happened yet.
Bonus cashback. Promotions, upsized campaign bonuses and referral rewards follow a separate rule. ShopBack states bonus cashback should be confirmed within 5 working days once you have met all the offer's requirements, such as a minimum spend or a first purchase.
Telco and subscriptions. Activation and cooling-off periods are longer than retail, so mobile plans and subscription services can take longer. The store's ShopBack page shows the expected time.
What can change before Confirmed?
Two things.
The amount is adjusted. If you return part of an order, the store reports a lower sale value and the Pending cashback is recalculated to match what you kept. ShopBack Singapore also notes that a store can cap the cashback at its discretion, so the Confirmed amount can be lower than the amount first tracked.
The order is Rejected. ShopBack Singapore lists the reasons: the order was cancelled, returned or exchanged; the store's terms were not met (for example an excluded category); you used a coupon or promo code not listed on ShopBack; you clicked a third-party offer during the purchase; or the URL was manually edited. In each case the store does not pay ShopBack a commission, so there is no cashback to pass on.
How do I withdraw ShopBack cashback in Singapore?
Only Confirmed Cashback can be withdrawn. These are the rules from the ShopBack Singapore help centre as of October 2026.
| Rule | Singapore |
|---|---|
| Minimum Confirmed balance to withdraw | S$10 |
| Daily withdrawal limit | S$300 |
| Method | Bank transfer to a Singapore bank account (DBS, OCBC, UOB and other local banks) |
| Not supported | DBS PayLah! (discontinued 18 December 2023); PayNow is not offered |
| Fee | None |
| Payout time | Typically within 10 calendar days; always completed within 10 working days over public holidays |
| Verification link validity | 30 minutes |
| Proof of transfer | Remittance advice emailed within 24 hours on request |
- Open the withdrawal page. App: Cashback, then Redeem. Web: hover the Account icon next to your Cashback earnings and click Withdraw money.
- Add a bank account. Select Add a Bank and enter the bank, account number and account name exactly as the bank records them.
- Verify via email within 30 minutes. The verification link expires after 30 minutes; check spam or junk if it has not arrived.
- Enter an amount between S$10 and S$300. After a large campaign, spread a bigger balance over consecutive days.
- Wait up to 10 calendar days. Withdrawals are processed in batches. If nothing has arrived after 10 working days, the most common cause is an incorrect account number.
- Need a receipt? Account, then Redeem, tap Need help on the withdrawal, and select Get proof of transfer. The remittance advice arrives by email within 24 hours.
What delays or kills cashback in Singapore?
| Cause | Why it fails | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| No click-through | No tracking cookie | Start at the ShopBack app, site or extension every time |
| Bought from a different Shopee seller than the one you tapped through to | Only the minimum base rate applies | Tap through to the exact seller you will buy from |
| Ad blocker running | ShopBack cannot track the session | Pause it, or shop in the ShopBack app |
| Promo code not listed on ShopBack | Store's affiliate terms exclude it | Use only codes on the store's ShopBack page |
| Clicked another offer or advert mid-purchase | Overwrites the ShopBack cookie | Go straight from ShopBack to checkout |
| Manually edited URL | Strips tracking parameters | Let the redirect load and shop from there |
| Returned, cancelled or exchanged | Store reverses the commission | Expected; cashback is recalculated or removed |
| In-store: card not linked, or paid via Apple Pay with a UOB Mastercard | ShopBack cannot see the payment | Link the card and pay with it directly |
| In-store: paid by Singtel Dash, GrabPay QR, FavePay, GetzPay or cash | Not trackable | Use a linked card or Scan and Pay |
| Bulk purchase or event booking in-store | Not trackable | Expected exclusion |

How do I report missing cashback in Singapore, and what is the deadline?
Singapore has the clearest published window of any ShopBack market, so it is worth stating exactly.
- Earliest: 7 days after the purchase date. ShopBack Singapore states you can only file a report 7 days after purchase, to allow for processing time.
- Latest: 30 days after the purchase date. After 30 days the option to report is no longer available.
- How long it takes: ShopBack states the investigation can take up to 120 days, because it depends on the store checking its own records.
Where to file. App: go to My Cashback and tap the prompt for cashback that has not shown up, or go to Support and select Request help on Missing Cashback, choose the order, tap Request Help, fill in the details and upload a transaction screenshot. Web: hover the Account icon, click Cashback Overview, then Report a Missing Cashback, choose the transaction type and store, enter the purchase date and order ID, and send the report. If ShopBack cannot identify the order ID it asks for the purchase amount, the currency, any coupon code and a confirmation screenshot in PNG, JPEG or PDF.
Tracking the case. Account, then Support, then View Support Requests shows the status of every report. Note that ShopBack keeps a record of the stores you visited through ShopBack; if the purchase happened without a ShopBack click, the report option will not be offered.
Worked example: one Singapore shopper, one month
Illustrative rates only; the actual rate is on each store's ShopBack page.
- 2 October: S$120 order from a Shopee brand store, tapped through to that exact seller, illustrative 3 percent. Pending S$3.60 on 3 October. Confirms early November.
- 6 October: S$85 FairPrice Online basket, illustrative 2 percent. Pending S$1.70 on 7 October. Confirms within a few weeks.
- 10 October: S$900 Agoda hotel for a December Bangkok trip, illustrative 5 percent. Pending S$45 on 11 October. Stays Pending until after the December stay; confirms in January.
- 18 October: S$260 of sneakers from a fashion store, illustrative 4 percent. Pending S$10.40 on 19 October. One pair returned on 25 October; Pending recalculates to S$5.20. Confirms late November.
- 22 October: S$60 Lazada order placed without tapping through ShopBack first. Nothing appears by 29 October (day 7). The report option is not offered because there was no ShopBack click. Lesson learned.
By early December this shopper has about S$10.50 Confirmed and S$45 still Pending for the hotel. They withdraw S$10.50 to their DBS account on 3 December and it lands by 13 December. The hotel cashback joins the balance after the trip.
Where this works best
- Shoppers who tap through to the exact Shopee seller. It is the single most Singapore-specific rule and the easiest to get right once you know it.
- Travellers who book early. Book through ShopBack, forget it, and treat the post-trip confirmation as a bonus.
- Monthly withdrawers. Letting Confirmed Cashback build past S$10 and withdrawing once a month keeps the verification steps minimal.
- App-first shoppers. Ad blockers and private browsing disappear as problems inside the app.
- Calendar keepers. Note the day-7 and day-30 claim window for any order that has not shown as Pending.
FAQ
How long does ShopBack cashback stay Pending in Singapore?
Until the partner store validates the order, which it does after its own cancellation or return window has closed. A tracked order shows as Pending within 48 hours. Marketplace and retail orders on Shopee, Lazada, Amazon or fashion stores typically confirm within a few weeks. Travel on Klook, Agoda, Trip.com or Booking.com usually confirms after the trip. Each store's ShopBack page shows its expected confirmation time.
What does Confirmed cashback mean on ShopBack?
Confirmed means the partner store has validated your purchase and paid ShopBack the commission that funds your cashback, so the amount is now part of your withdrawable balance. Pending means ShopBack has recorded the order but the store has not validated it yet. Only Confirmed Cashback can be withdrawn, and Pending Cashback can still be reduced or removed if you cancel, return or exchange the order.
How do I withdraw ShopBack cashback in Singapore?
By bank transfer to a Singapore bank account, once your Confirmed Cashback reaches S$10. In the app go to Cashback then Redeem; on the web hover the Account icon and click Withdraw money. Add your bank, verify it via the email link within 30 minutes, and enter an amount up to the S$300 daily limit. There is no fee. DBS PayLah! was discontinued as a withdrawal method on 18 December 2023 and PayNow is not offered.
Is ShopBack cashback paid faster for shopping than for travel in Singapore?
Yes. Shopping stores validate after their return window, which is commonly 7 to 30 days for marketplaces and fashion, so shopping cashback usually confirms within a few weeks. Travel merchants earn their commission only when the stay, flight or activity is completed, so Klook, Agoda, Trip.com and Booking.com cashback typically stays Pending until after your travel date, however early you booked.
Is Shopee cashback on ShopBack lower if I buy from a different seller?
Yes. ShopBack Singapore states that to maximise cashback from a Shopee purchase you need to buy from the same seller store you landed on. If you tap through to seller A from ShopBack but buy from seller B, you receive only the minimum base rate, except in special cases such as upsize deals. Find the specific Shopee seller on ShopBack and tap through directly to that seller before you check out.
When can I file a missing cashback report with ShopBack Singapore?
From 7 days after the purchase date until 30 days after the purchase date. ShopBack Singapore states the report option only opens 7 days after purchase to allow for processing time, and that reports must be made within 30 days, after which the option disappears. ShopBack also states an investigation can take up to 120 days because it depends on the store's response.
When does a ShopBack withdrawal reach my Singapore bank account?
Typically within 10 calendar days of the request, per the ShopBack Singapore help centre as of October 2026. During public holiday periods ShopBack states the transfer is always completed within 10 working days. Incorrect bank details are the most common cause of delay, so check the account number and bank before submitting.
Does paying with Apple Pay or GrabPay affect in-store cashback tracking?
It can. ShopBack Singapore states that for in-store cashback with a UOB Mastercard you must pay with the card directly rather than through a mobile wallet such as Apple Pay, and that payments by Singtel Dash, GrabPay QR, FavePay, GetzPay or cash cannot be tracked. Link the card in the app and pay with it directly, or use Scan and Pay where offered.
Can I still earn ShopBack cashback if I use a voucher code from somewhere else?
Not reliably. ShopBack Singapore states it cannot track cashback if you used a coupon or promo code that is not listed on ShopBack. Codes shown on the store's ShopBack page are safe. Shopee and Lazada platform vouchers collected inside their apps are a separate question that the store's ShopBack page addresses in its terms; read the Cashback Info before you check out.
What if I return one item from a multi-item Shopee order?
The Pending cashback is adjusted. ShopBack states cashback is unavailable on cancelled, returned or exchanged orders, and for a partial return the store reports the lower order value, so the Pending amount is recalculated to the items you kept and then confirms on the store's normal timeline. A full return removes the cashback.

- Shopee rule: tap through to the exact seller you buy from, or you get only the minimum base rate.
- Withdraw S$10 or more of Confirmed Cashback, up to S$300 a day, by bank transfer only (no PayLah!, no PayNow), landing within 10 calendar days.
- Missing cashback reports open 7 days after purchase and close at 30 days; investigations can take up to 120 days.
- Ad blockers, unlisted codes, mid-purchase detours and wallet payments on in-store cards are the avoidable tracking killers.
