In Singapore, mofusand products are usually bought online from sellers on Shopee and Lazada, or from the official mofusand mofumofu market web shop in Japan, which takes orders from outside Japan through its Global-e international delivery service. mofusand comes from Japan, where its official stores and most pop-ups are. At the time of writing, the official mofusand information site lists permanent stores in Japan, including mofusand TOKYO in Harajuku, and pop-up shops that have travelled as far as Taipei (March 2026). There is no permanent Singapore store listed, which is why most Singapore fans shop online.

mofusand Singapore: what mofusand is and what you can buy

mofusand is a Japanese cat character series by the illustrator ぢゅの, known for slightly surreal cats wearing costumes. The best-known characters include Samenyan, a cat in a shark suit, Ebinyan, a cat wearing a fried prawn on its head, and Shachinyan in an orca suit. The series grew on social media and LINE stickers before expanding into capsule toys, apparel, plush toys and much more. The official mofusand site is run by Spiral Cute, Inc.

The official web shop groups mofusand goods into these categories, according to the shop at the time of writing:

• Plush toys and mascots
• Bags and pouches
• Acrylic stands, stickers and keychains
• Stationery and books
• Apparel and fashion accessories
• Phone and PC accessories
• Kitchenware, interior items and towels
• Cosmetics, car accessories and pet goods

The shop also organises items by character (Samenyan, sea creature cats, teddy bear cats, rabbit cats, sweet potato cats, fruit cats, sweets cats and others) and by series, such as the mofusand and Sanrio Characters collaboration. That makes the official shop a handy reference when you are checking whether a design you see on Shopee or Lazada matches an official release.

mofusand Singapore in 2026: what is new

In 2026 mofusand has a short anime series, ongoing collaborations and a steady stream of new releases on the official shop. According to the official mofusand site at the time of writing, the anime streams on Wednesday mornings (Japan time) on the QTORY YouTube channel and other platforms. The series has also been part of brand tie-ups in Japan with Sanrio Characters, FamilyMart, Monster Hunter, Kura Sushi and FILA, according to the Japanese Wikipedia entry on the series.

For Singapore buyers, the practical points are:

• New releases show up on the official shop first. The official web shop lists new items by release date, so it is the place to check whether a design has been released.
• Collaboration items sell out. Limited collaboration goods are often made in set quantities, so prices from resellers can rise after release.
• Pop-ups move around. The official site lists pop-up shops and events with dates; check it before planning a trip if you are visiting Japan or Taipei.

mofusand Singapore best deals in 2026

The best deals on mofusand goods in Singapore usually come during Shopee and Lazada's big sale days, especially 11.11 and 12.12, and through platform vouchers. Shopee and Lazada run double-digit sale days such as 10.10, 11.11 and 12.12 every year, and these are when vouchers and lower prices on character goods tend to appear.

Ways to pay less, without relying on any one deal:

• Time big gift orders. If you are buying for Christmas or a birthday, 11.11 and 12.12 fall just before the holiday gifting season.
• Bundle from one seller. Buying several items from one seller can help you clear a free-shipping threshold, where the seller offers one.
• Check where it ships from. Items shipped from overseas can take longer and may cost more to post. A local seller can be the better total even if the item price is higher.
• Use the platform vouchers you would use anyway. Apply them at checkout, then compare totals.
• Open ShopBack first. ShopBack lowers the effective price of flights, hotels and online orders after you pay, whatever sale is on.

Specific vouchers and prices change daily, so check the live terms on Shopee or Lazada before you pay.

Shopee vs Lazada: mofusand Singapore price comparison in 2026

Neither Shopee nor Lazada is cheaper for mofusand every time; the price depends on the seller, where the item ships from and the vouchers available that day, so compare the same item on both. Both platforms are good places to look, and each has its own strengths.

What Shopee is good for

• A wide range of sellers, from local shops to overseas sellers, so rarer designs often turn up.
• Platform vouchers and Shopee Coins, which you can use under Shopee's own terms.
• A published returns process. Shopee's Refunds and Return Policy lets buyers apply for a return or refund when an item does not match the agreed specification, is incomplete, faulty or damaged in delivery, among other cases.

What Lazada is good for

• Brand and larger seller stores alongside marketplace sellers.
• Platform vouchers during its sale days.

How to compare them fairly

1. Search the same character, item type and size on both.
2. Compare photos with the official design on the mofumofu market shop.
3. Add shipping and check the delivery estimate.
4. Check the seller's ratings and reviews from other buyers.
5. Pick the lower total, then open ShopBack, tap the store and check out.

Shopee and Lazada: how to buy mofusand in Singapore step by step

Open ShopBack, tap the store, then check out: that is the routine for a mofusand order on Shopee or Lazada.

1. Open the ShopBack Singapore app or website.
2. Tap the store, either the Shopee page on ShopBack or the Lazada page on ShopBack.
3. Search for mofusand in the store, pick your seller and item, and add it to your cart.
4. Apply any platform voucher you want to use, then check out in the same session without switching to another app or deal site.
5. Once the store confirms the order, the cash is added to your ShopBack account.

For Shopee orders, tap through to the exact seller you plan to buy from, and check the store's page on ShopBack for any payment method or voucher that is excluded.

Why ShopBack is part of buying mofusand online

ShopBack lowers the effective price of flights, hotels and online orders after you pay. Cashback lowers what you actually pay for an order. It comes back as cash, so it works like a discount on the price, not like points or miles. You can withdraw it to your bank account once it is confirmed.

The live rate for Shopee and Lazada is shown on each store's ShopBack page, and eligible categories can vary, so check the page before you check out.

Buying from the official mofusand web shop

The official mofusand mofumofu market web shop says it is provided for customers living in Japan, but shoppers outside Japan can order through Global-e, its international delivery service, under Global-e's own terms. A few points from the shop's user guide at the time of writing:

• Membership is free. There is no joining fee or annual fee, but you need a member account to place an order.
• Prices can be shown in Singapore dollars. The shop has a currency and region selector that includes Singapore.
• Returns have a time limit. The shop asks customers to contact its customer centre within 7 days of the item arriving if there is a problem, and to follow its instructions for returns.

Delivery costs and timing through Global-e are shown at checkout, so compare the landed total with what Shopee and Lazada sellers charge for the same item.
