Traveloka Batam or Bintan Ferry and Hotel Packages in 2026?
How Singapore travellers book a Batam or Bintan ferry and hotel on Traveloka in 2026: ferry fares, terminals, entry rules and the ShopBack step.
Traveloka Batam or Bintan Ferry and Hotel Packages in 2026?
Yes, Singapore travellers can book a Batam or Bintan trip on Traveloka in 2026, but usually as a ferry ticket plus a hotel, not one bundle. Traveloka's Singapore site lists Batam and Bintan hotels and sells ferry tickets such as Sindo Ferry's Singapore to Batam route under Things to Do. According to Sindo Ferry at the time of writing, the Batam ferry costs S$28 one way or S$56 return. Plan the trip, then book through ShopBack.
New to ShopBack? ShopBack Singapore is a free app and website that gives you cash back when you book or shop with partner sites such as Traveloka, Agoda, Booking.com and Trip.com. Tap through from ShopBack before you book, pay as normal, and the cash lands in your ShopBack account. Sign up to ShopBack Singapore for free.
Traveloka Batam or Bintan ferry and hotel packages: how they work
On Traveloka's Singapore site, the ferry and the hotel are normally two separate bookings that you line up on the same dates. Batam and Bintan are short sea crossings from Singapore, so the flight-plus-hotel bundles you might use for Bali or Bangkok do not fit. Here is where each part sits:
- Hotels. Traveloka's Singapore homepage lists "Hotels in Batam" and "Hotels in Bintan", and names Batam properties such as Batam Marriott Hotel Harbour Bay, Grand Mercure Batam Centre, Radisson Golf & Convention Center Batam, ARTOTEL Batam, ibis Styles Batam Nagoya and Fox Hotel Nagoya Batam among its popular stays.
- Ferry tickets. Traveloka lists Sindo Ferry tickets for Singapore to Batam and Batam to Singapore under Things to Do (activities).
- Things to do. The same homepage features Batam Adventure Park and a snorkelling tour by Bintan Resort among its popular attractions.
So the "package" is something you assemble: pick your ferry times, then book a hotel for the nights in between. If you search Things to Do for "Batam" or "Bintan" on your dates, you can also see whether any stay-and-ferry bundles are listed at the time you book.
Traveloka's Singapore business is run by Traveloka Services Pte. Ltd., which shows Travel Agent Licence Number TA02740 on its site.
Batam ferry: operators, terminals and fares
The Batam ferry from Singapore costs S$28 one way or S$56 return with Sindo Ferry, according to its fares page at the time of writing, plus fees. Fares are in SGD and include surcharge, but they leave out:
| Fee | Amount (Sindo Ferry, at the time of writing) |
|---|---|
| Singapore Passenger Departure Fee | S$10 per person, from HarbourFront or Tanah Merah |
| Batam terminal fee | Rp100,000 or S$10 per person, on the trip back from Batam Centre, Sekupang or WaterFront |
| Temporary fuel surcharge | If applicable |
So a simple return trip with Sindo Ferry works out to about S$76 per adult (S$56 fare, S$10 departure fee, S$10 Batam terminal fee) before any fuel surcharge.
Routes and terminals. Sindo Ferry, which has connected Singapore and Batam since 1999, sails from HarbourFront to Batam Centre, Sekupang, WaterFront and Gold Coast, and from Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal to Batam Centre. It says it runs 100+ weekly departures between Singapore and Batam. Its published HarbourFront to Batam Centre schedule runs from 08:00 to 21:50 Singapore time.
Other operators. Batamfast also sails from HarbourFront and Tanah Merah to Batam Centre, Sekupang, Gold Coast and Nongsa, according to its booking page.
Batam ferry from Singapore in 2026: what changed this year
Three updates matter for a Batam ferry from Singapore in 2026: new HarbourFront counters, a fuel surcharge and Indonesia's digital arrival card.
- HarbourFront counters moved. Sindo Ferry says its new HarbourFront Ferry Terminal counter (#01-11, 5 HarbourFront Avenue) took effect on 15 July 2026, about 70m from the old spot. Batamfast announced a HarbourFront check-in counter relocation on 7 July 2026.
- Fuel surcharge. Batamfast announced a fuel surcharge effective 14 March 2026, and Sindo Ferry lists a temporary fuel surcharge "if applicable". Check the final price at checkout.
- All Indonesia arrival card. Bintan Resort Ferries says the All Indonesia e-Arrival Card has been mandatory for Bintan visitors since 1 October 2025, and its visa page says to complete it within 72 hours before arrival.
Bintan ferry: Bintan Resort Ferries fares and times
A Bintan Resorts ferry costs S$62 one way or S$100 return for an adult in Economy on regular dates, according to Bintan Resort Ferries' fares effective 12 March 2026. Ferries run from Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal to Bandar Bentan Telani, the gateway to the Lagoi resort area, and fares include levies and fees.
| Ticket | Adult | Child (11 and under) |
|---|---|---|
| Economy one way | S$62 | S$57 |
| Economy return, regular dates | S$100 | S$88 |
| Economy return, peak dates | S$110 | S$98 |
| Emerald Class one way | S$89 | S$80 |
| Emerald Class return, regular dates | S$154 | S$134 |

Peak dates for the rest of 2026, according to Bintan Resort Ferries: 6 to 9 November, 20 to 22 November, 27 to 29 November, 4 to 6 December, 11 to 13 December and 18 to 31 December. If your dates are flexible, a weekend outside these windows keeps you on regular fares.
Times and bags. On Monday to Thursday, Bintan Resort Ferries lists departures from Tanah Merah at 08:10, 11:10, 14:00 and 17:00 Singapore time, with extra sailings on some days. Economy includes 20 kg of checked baggage and Emerald Class 30 kg, with hand carry up to 10 kg.
Tanjung Pinang instead of the resorts? Sindo Ferry sails from Tanah Merah to Tanjung Pinang on Bintan for S$43 one way or S$86 return, according to its fares page.
What you need to enter Batam or Bintan
You need a passport valid for at least 6 months, a return or onward ticket and the All Indonesia digital arrival card, according to Bintan Resort Ferries. Visa rules depend on your nationality:
- Visa on arrival. Bintan Resort Ferries lists a visa on arrival at IDR 500,000 per person for a stay of up to 30 days for eligible nationalities, and points to evisa.imigrasi.go.id for the e-VOA.
- Singapore PRs. It says Singapore Permanent Residents holding a blue NRIC can enter Bintan Resorts visa-free, with a stay permit of up to 4 days.
- Everyone else. Check your own case with Indonesian immigration before you book, since rules can change.
Traveloka holiday packages: flight and hotel deals from Singapore in 2026
Traveloka does run a Flight + Hotel category, which suits destinations you fly to, not ferry trips like Batam and Bintan. For a Bali or Bangkok trip from Singapore in 2026, a flight-and-hotel bundle can be worth pricing against booking each part on its own. For Batam and Bintan, the sea crossing replaces the flight, so the ferry-plus-hotel approach above is what you need.
One thing to know before you pick a bundle: ShopBack's Traveloka page lists the Flight + Hotel category as excluded at the time of writing, while Hotels is one of the eligible categories. That is one more reason to book the ferry and hotel separately for an island weekend.
Traveloka official packages: where to find them
Traveloka's official deals live on the Deals section of traveloka.com and in the Traveloka app. If you search "site:traveloka.com holiday packages", you land on Traveloka's own product pages, which is where the current terms for each offer are published.
A few tips:
- Check the campaign calendar. ShopBack's Traveloka page mentions a Traveloka Fiesta campaign on the 3rd of each month.
- Read the terms on each deal. Offers often depend on the product, the dates, the payment method and a minimum spend.
- Compare the final price. Look at the total on the payment page, with taxes and fees, before you decide.
How to plan a Batam or Bintan weekend: a step-by-step
Plan the trip, then book through ShopBack. Lock the parts with limited seats first, then book the hotel last.
- Pick the island. Batam has more city hotels and shorter, frequent crossings. Bintan's Lagoi area is a resort zone reached via Bandar Bentan Telani.
- Check entry rules. Passport validity, visa needs and the All Indonesia arrival card.
- Book the ferry. Choose the operator and times on the operator's site or on Traveloka's Things to Do, and budget the departure fee and terminal fee.
- Book the hotel through ShopBack. Open the Traveloka page on ShopBack, tap through, and book in SGD for the nights between your sailings.
- Pack for the bag limits. Bintan Resort Ferries allows 20 kg checked in Economy, for example.
Why ShopBack is a step before you book
ShopBack is a post-purchase discount: go through it before you pay and the effective price drops. Cashback lowers what you actually pay for an order. It comes back as cash, so it works like a discount on the price, not like points or miles.
Here is a worked example with an illustrative rate: on a S$300 two-night Batam hotel booking at an illustrative 5%, S$15 comes back, so the effective price is S$285. The real rate is on the Traveloka store page on ShopBack and can change during campaigns, so check it on the day you book.
Things to check on that page before you pay, at the time of writing:
- Eligible categories. Hotels are listed as eligible; some categories, including Flight + Hotel, airport transfers, and buses and trains, are listed as excluded. Check whether ferry tickets count before you rely on them.
- Currency. Book in SGD on Traveloka Singapore, with your Traveloka currency matching your ShopBack country.
- Promo codes. The page says promo code or coupon use can affect eligibility, so read the terms first.
- Timing. Cash is confirmed after your stay is completed; the page shows the current timeline.
Booking Batam and Bintan hotels on other travel sites
Batam and Bintan hotels are also sold on other travel sites on ShopBack Singapore, including Agoda, Booking.com, Trip.com, Expedia, Klook and KKday.
Frequently asked questions
Can I book a Batam or Bintan ferry and hotel package on Traveloka?
You can book both parts on Traveloka's Singapore site, but usually as two bookings rather than one bundle. Hotels in Batam and Bintan are listed under Hotels, and ferry tickets, such as Sindo Ferry's Singapore to Batam service, are listed under Things to Do. Book the ferry first, then the hotel for the same dates, and go through ShopBack before you pay for the hotel.
How much is the Batam ferry from Singapore?
According to Sindo Ferry at the time of writing, a HarbourFront or Tanah Merah to Batam ticket costs S$28 one way or S$56 return, including surcharge. That excludes the S$10 Singapore Passenger Departure Fee and the Batam terminal fee of Rp100,000 or S$10 on the way back, and a fuel surcharge may apply.
Which terminals do Batam ferries leave from in Singapore?
Batam ferries leave from HarbourFront and Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal. Sindo Ferry sails from HarbourFront to Batam Centre, Sekupang, WaterFront and Gold Coast, and from Tanah Merah to Batam Centre. Sindo Ferry says its new HarbourFront Ferry Terminal counter, effective 15 July 2026, is at 5 HarbourFront Avenue, about 70m from the old one.
How much is the ferry to Bintan Resorts?
According to Bintan Resort Ferries, fares effective 12 March 2026 are S$62 one way and S$100 return for an adult in Economy Class on regular dates, or S$110 return on peak dates, with levies and fees included. Visa rules depend on nationality; it lists a visa on arrival at IDR 500,000 for eligible nationalities. Check your own case before you travel.
Does Traveloka sell flight and hotel packages in Singapore?
Traveloka has a Flight + Hotel category, which fits trips you fly to, such as Bali. Batam and Bintan are ferry trips from Singapore, so a flight bundle does not apply; you pair a ferry ticket with a hotel instead. Note that ShopBack's Traveloka page lists the Flight + Hotel category as excluded at the time of writing.
Where can I find Traveloka's official packages and deals?
Traveloka's own deals sit on the Deals section of traveloka.com and in its app, and ShopBack's Traveloka page mentions a Traveloka Fiesta campaign on the 3rd of each month. Read each deal's terms, because they often depend on the product, the dates and a minimum spend.
When are Bintan ferry peak dates in late 2026?
Bintan Resort Ferries lists 2026 peak dates of 6 to 9 November, 20 to 22 November, 27 to 29 November, 4 to 6 December, 11 to 13 December and 18 to 31 December. Return fares are higher on those dates, so book around them if your plans allow.
How does ShopBack lower the cost of a Traveloka hotel booking?
ShopBack is a post-purchase discount: go through it before you pay and the effective price drops. Open the Traveloka page on ShopBack Singapore, tap through, and book your Batam or Bintan hotel in SGD as usual. Once your stay is completed and confirmed, cash lands in your ShopBack account. The live rate and eligible categories are on the Traveloka page.
Is ShopBack cashback the same as Traveloka points?
No. Cashback lowers what you actually pay for an order. It comes back as cash, so it works like a discount on the price, not like points or miles that you can only spend with one company.
