Which Agoda credit card promotion is running this month in Singapore? At the time of writing in October 2026, Agoda's DBS/POSB page lists 20% off worldwide hotels capped at S$50 for bookings from 1 to 31 October 2026, its UOB page lists 12% off capped at S$30 until 31 December 2026, and its American Express page lists 7% off worldwide. How to check the current month's offer, the terms that matter, Malaysia's Maybank and Mastercard pages, and how to book Agoda through ShopBack.
Which Agoda Credit Card Promotion Is Running This Month in Singapore?
Published: 8 October 2026 · Last updated: 8 October 2026 · Author: Ziling Liu, ShopBack
At the time of writing in October 2026, the largest headline Agoda credit card discount in Singapore is DBS/POSB's: Agoda lists 20% off worldwide hotels, capped at S$50, for bookings from 1 to 31 October 2026. UOB cardholders get an additional 12% off, capped at S$30, for bookings until 31 December 2026, and American Express Card Members an additional 7% off worldwide, according to Agoda's own bank pages.
New to ShopBack Singapore? ShopBack is a free app and website that returns cash when you book or shop with partner stores, including Agoda. Go through ShopBack before you book, pay on Agoda as normal, and the cash lands in your ShopBack account once your stay is confirmed. Sign up to ShopBack Singapore before your next hotel booking.
Which Agoda credit card promotion is running this month?
Agoda runs card promotions through a separate page for each partner bank, and each page lists its own promotion period, stay period and cap. Here is what those pages show at the time of writing (8 October 2026):
| Card | What Agoda lists | Cap | Booking and stay period |
|---|---|---|---|
| DBS / POSB | 20% off worldwide hotels in October 2026, then a year-round 7% once the 20% offer is fully redeemed | S$50 on the 20% offer | Book 1 to 31 October 2026; stay 1 October 2026 to 30 June 2027 |
| UOB | Additional 12% off hotel bookings | S$30 | Book until 31 December 2026; stay until 31 December 2027 |
| American Express | Additional 7% off worldwide | See Agoda's Amex page | See Agoda's Amex page |
| OCBC | Card discount shown on the booking form after you enter a valid OCBC card number | See Agoda's OCBC page | See Agoda's OCBC page |
| HSBC (cards issued in Singapore) | Card discount shown at the payment page after you key in valid HSBC card details | See Agoda's HSBC page | See Agoda's HSBC page |
What the caps mean in dollars. On a S$200 room charge, 20% would be S$40, inside the DBS S$50 cap. On a S$400 room charge, 20% would be S$80, but the cap holds the saving to S$50. UOB's 12% reaches its S$30 cap at a S$250 charge. So on bigger bookings the cap, not the percentage, decides which card saves more.
Because DBS/POSB's 20% is first come, first served and ends on 31 October 2026, check the page on the day you book. If the allocation has run out, Agoda says the year-round 7% applies instead.
Agoda credit card promotion in Singapore for 2026: how it works
Every Agoda bank offer follows the same basic rules, set out in the terms on each bank page. According to those terms:
- Book through the bank's page. The promotion applies to bookings made through that bank's dedicated Agoda page.
- Pay with the bank's card. For card-based offers, cardholders must settle the booking with an eligible card from that bank.
- The discount shows before you pay. It appears on the booking form once you enter a valid card number.
- Limited allocations. Offers are first come, first served with limited redemptions.
- Booking and stay windows. The booking must be made in the promotion period and the stay completed within the stay period.
- No combining. The promotion cannot be used with other Agoda promotions, discount cards, loyalty programmes, vouchers, discounted items or fixed price items.
- Taxes and fees are excluded. The discount does not apply to taxes, service fees, processing fees and similar charges.
A practical habit: before you pay, look at the booking form total with and without the card number entered. That number, not the headline percentage, is your real saving.
Agoda credit card promotions for DBS, UOB, OCBC and Citi cards
DBS/POSB. Agoda's DBS/POSB page lists an additional 20% off worldwide hotels for bookings from 1 to 31 October 2026, capped at S$50, for stays from 1 October 2026 to 30 June 2027. Agoda says the offer opened on 1 October at 1:00am SGT on a first-come, first-served basis, and that a year-round 7% applies after the 20% is fully redeemed.
UOB. Agoda's UOB page lists an additional 12% off hotel bookings with UOB cards, capped at S$30, for bookings until 31 December 2026 and stays until 31 December 2027, with limited redemptions on a first-come, first-served basis.
OCBC. Agoda runs a dedicated OCBC page. Its terms say the discount appears on the booking form after you enter a valid OCBC credit or debit card number, so the easiest way to see the current amount is to start a booking there.
Citi. For Citi cards, check Citi Singapore's own card promotions page for any current Agoda offer, and compare it with the bank pages above.
American Express and HSBC. Agoda's Amex page lists an additional 7% off worldwide for American Express Card Members, and its HSBC Singapore page covers HSBC credit cards issued in Singapore, with the discount reflected at the payment page.
Agoda's official card offers: where to find them
Agoda's official card offers live on its own site, on pages named after each bank. At the time of writing these include agoda.com/dbs, agoda.com/uob, agoda.com/ocbc, agoda.com/amex and agoda.com/hsbcsg. A quick way to find the right one is to search site:agoda.com with your bank's name. Bank pages and their terms change, so the page itself is the source to trust on the day you book, not a screenshot or a forum post.
Agoda, Mastercard and ShopBack in Malaysia
If you are booking from Malaysia, the card offers and the ShopBack page are different.
- Mastercard. Agoda keeps Mastercard pages for Singapore and Malaysia, but at the time of writing the dates shown on them are from an earlier campaign, so check the booking and stay period before you rely on them.
- Maybank. Agoda's Maybank page lists an additional 8% off Malaysia hotels and 7% off worldwide hotels with a Maybank card, at the time of writing.
- Hong Leong Bank. Hong Leong Bank is a Malaysian bank, so its cardholders should check the bank's own card promotions page for any current Agoda or travel offer.
- ShopBack. ShopBack Malaysia has its own Agoda page. Malaysian travellers should go through ShopBack Malaysia, and Singapore travellers through ShopBack Singapore, so the booking matches your account country.
Agoda's own programmes, then ShopBack as a step
Before any bank offer, Agoda has its own ways to lower the price. According to ShopBack's Agoda page, Agoda runs app-only Insider Deals, AgodaCash credit on eligible bookings that can be used on future Agoda bookings, and AgodaVIP, a tiered status that unlocks member discounts on selected properties as you complete stays. Signing in before you search shows any member rates you qualify for.
Then make ShopBack a step in the booking. Save on your trip by booking flights, hotels and activities through ShopBack. Open the Agoda page on ShopBack Singapore, tap through, and book on Agoda in the same session. ShopBack lowers the effective price of flights, hotels and online orders after you pay.
Cashback lowers what you actually pay for an order. It comes back as cash, so it works like a discount on the price, not like points or miles.
A worked example, with an illustrative rate. Say your room costs S$300 and the illustrative rate is 5%. S$15 comes back after your stay, so the effective price is S$285. The real rate is the one shown on the Agoda page on ShopBack when you book.
Card rewards, bank promos and ShopBack on the same booking
You can usually earn cashback and your credit card's rewards or bank card promo on the same purchase, because they come from different places. Cashback also usually applies on sale prices. Some merchant promo codes or payment methods can void cashback, so check the merchant's terms on ShopBack.
For Agoda, keep two points in mind:
- Your card's own rewards, such as miles, points or card rebates, are paid by your bank, so they usually still apply when you pay for an Agoda booking. Check your card's terms for travel or merchant exclusions.
- Agoda's bank card discounts are Agoda promotions with their own terms. ShopBack's Agoda page sets out which Agoda promotions, deals and pages are eligible in its Terms and exclusions section, so read it before you choose, and compare the total both ways.
How to compare, using the numbers above. On a S$300 room, the UOB page would take off S$30 (12% is S$36, capped at S$30), so you would pay S$270. If ShopBack's Agoda terms count that booking as eligible, an illustrative 5% back on the S$270 you paid (S$13.50) would bring the effective price to S$256.50. If they do not, compare S$270 with the S$285 effective price of booking the same room through ShopBack at the illustrative 5% without the bank page. Work out both totals for your own booking with the live numbers, then pick the route that leaves you paying less.
Other hotel booking sites to compare
Other hotel booking sites Singapore travellers compare with Agoda include Booking.com, Trip.com, Expedia, Hotels.com and Klook. Banks run card offers with several of these too, so the same routine applies: check the card offer, compare the final total, and go through ShopBack before you book.
The verdict
For October 2026, DBS/POSB's 20% Agoda offer, capped at S$50, is the largest on paper while the allocation lasts; UOB's 12%, capped at S$30, runs until 31 December 2026; and American Express lists 7% off worldwide. Use the card you already hold, open its Agoda page on the day, and check the total on the booking form. Then go through the Agoda page on ShopBack Singapore before you book, so the price you pay is as low as your card and Agoda's terms allow.

For Agoda, read the Terms and exclusions on ShopBack's Agoda page and compare the total with and without the bank discount before you choose.
How do I pay less on Agoda with ShopBack?
Go through the Agoda page on ShopBack Singapore, tap through, and book on Agoda in the same session. ShopBack lowers the effective price of flights, hotels and online orders after you pay, and the cash comes back to your ShopBack account once Agoda confirms the stay. It works like a discount on the price, not like points or miles.
