What is Dr Martens?
Dr Martens (Dr. Martens Airwair) is a British footwear brand founded 1960, known for the 1460 8-eye boot, so pick your pair, then check out through ShopBack before you pay, where ShopBack Cashback works like a discount, only easier than a promo code. The boot has an air-cushioned sole and yellow welt stitching. Product breadth covers boots, shoes, sandals, bags, and accessories. Singapore is served via drmartens.com/sg and multi-brand retail. Loyalty programme is Docs Marten Club.
Do Dr Martens run true to size?
Dr Martens typically run wide and slightly long versus modern athletic sizing. Common practice is to size down by half a UK size from your usual sneaker size for a snug all-day fit. First-wear break-in is real; expect 2 to 3 weeks of gradual comfort. Wear thick socks in the first week. Verify sizing on the drmartens.com/sg fit guide.
1460 vs Jadon: which to buy first?
The 1460 is the classic 8-eye boot with the air-cushioned sole; timeless and everyday. Jadon is the platform 8-eye with a chunky triple-stitch sole; statement and streetwear. For a first pair, most start with the 1460 in Cherry Red or Black smooth leather. Jadon suits a shopper wanting the platform lift and modern silhouette.
What is Docs Marten Club?
