Spa Care for Your Brazilian? We Tried The Rosebud Vajuvenation by Strip
Self-care is the best care! Christmas has got me feeling more self-indulgent, so I headed to Strip for a good grooming session. I had been hearing about Strip’s new favourite treatment, the Rosebud Vajuvenation, for a while and this was my chance to try it along with my regular waxing service.
Did I need a Vajuvenation? Probably not. Did I want one? Absolutely. I’m a big advocate for taking care of myself and trying new beauty treatments. And, this sounded like a great chance to take care of a body area that generally gets neglected.
Waxing and Rosebud Vajuvenation by Strip
If you are reading about this treatment for the first time, let me tell you what it is all about. The Rosebud Vajuvenation is a one-of-a-kind treatment that acts as an anti-ageing lift for your Brazilian. It intends to make your lady parts firmer and more youthful, and it is a perfect complement for post-waxing or IPL sessions.
That is precisely what I did at Strip: I started with a Brazilian waxing, followed by the Rosebud Vajuvenation treatment. If you shave or wax often, you know that the skin down there is much thinner and more sensitive than the skin on our face. Problems with sagging and ingrown hairs are not uncommon and, as our skin ages, this might become a concern. This quick treatment tackles all these issues.
How does it work?
The Rosebud Vajuvenation is done in the private and comfortable environment of a Strip outlet and focuses on the bikini line, pubic mound and outer labia. This procedure is done as a regular facial, with a cleanse and exfoliation. This is a non-invasive and very safe lifting procedure for the skin. The treatment involves the use of a machine with Thermal O2 Technology, which is a combination of radio frequency, vacuum suction and heat. The therapist will use the wand in the device to work on your Brazilian. Collagen in the tissue is heated and stimulated to create a visible tightening and lifting effect.
During the treatment, the only thing that I felt was a warm and painless suction sensation around the area being treated. This part of the procedure is very relaxing and almost massage-like and even acts as a balm after the waxing. After the machine treatment, the therapist applies a mask that contains hyaluronic acid and rosehip oil, which gives a cooling sensation, to moisturise and firm the skin.
The effects include lesser fine lines, a firming up of sagging skin and an instant blush effect.

Although I was a bit reticent before going for the treatment, once I got there and the therapist explained how the treatment goes, I felt more assured.
The Brazilian waxing wasn’t as painful as I was expecting (the type of wax used made the entire process faster and effective) and the Rosebud treatment afterwards was relaxing and the perfect complement to the hair-removal procedure. After it, the skin felt more supple and looked smoother and plumper. And, the best thing is, even after two weeks, I have no ingrown hairs.
If anything, the entire session left me more confident while wearing a bikini.
- Cost: $250. ($1,800 for an eight-session package). For first-timers, Strip offers a trial Vajuvenation at only $80.
I saw results with just one session but, for long-lasting effects, it is recommended to do up to eight sessions, followed by maintenance treatment once or twice every quarter.
Alternatively, if you are still deciding about whether to “Rosebud or not to Rosebud”, give it a thought while trying one of these Two Lips Blackout masks at home. This treatment also makes for an original gift to one of the women in your life.
